Warwick Bubinga Splitting

I've seen several bubinga Warwicks at GC with ridges along the edges of where the 3 part body joins. I even saw one that had a slight split in it. Is this due to lack of humidity at GC or is it something in the gluing process? I never saw this on the bubinga models that I owned in the past.

It's not limited to Warwicks and bubinga....It happened over 10 years ago on a EB MM for me....Then in '99, yes, my Warwick had a wenge neck that split.

I think it's lack of care mostly, and i really hate talking bad about a company but everyone i've been to in my area (S.E. Michigan) had some screwed up guitars and amps. At one time GC used to carry ZON and Pedulla, but rarely do i see even see a high end Warwick now?
