Yeah she really is the punchiest bass I've ever played. And so tight sounding. The Drop D is ridiculously girthy.

I don't do the club thing but, the cause is just, and I would like to contribute. My Fortress One taught me what a quality instrument feels and sounds like.

Bought it new in 95'. Gold MEC active pickups, brass adjust-a-nut, three-piece-wenge neck, fantastic feel and tone. Two piece maple body with the bottom piece slightly flamed. The most stable neck I have had the pleasure owning.

To this day I aspire to be as impressive as my instrument.

My favorite Warwick! I wish I had one...I played a P/J model with an orange trans burst over flame maple, and it was one of the best basses I've ever played.

Ima join this thread. I am generally not a Warwick guy but I love my Fortresses. I had a Flashback 5 which I sold. I deeply regret selling it!

I am the proud owner of a Masterman in Purple stain and I have a Masterman 5 string also in purple stain on the way.

I love the balance of the bodies, the light weight, and those Wenge necks. Unbelievably easy to play.

And the dual preamps inside the MM's are just sick. Tone for days.

Can I join? I bought it new in '94 for €700 and never felt the need for another fretted 4 string. It's a '93 all wenge neck w/ passive MECs. It's so comfortable that I find most other basses a pain to play.
