Warwick Fortress Footmen, unite!

Here is mine, a 5 string Masterman... from 2004 !
Beautifull flamed-maple, under a tobacco burst and high polish.
Sorry for the wenge lovers, this young lady has the ovangkol neck (witch I personally like best). Looks like new and growls like a demon.

I also used to have this 96 Fortress One (with the wenge neck, of course). This particular one had the absolute best fretwork I ever saw on a bass.

still waiting for pics from rogerbmiller (small formality)

and yeah Bongo, judging by the ovangkol neck and production date, that Masterman is a CS job... they seem to have a strange policy of doing CS fortresses only with current standard specs... which means that even though wenge necks are available from the CS, you can't get one on a new CS fortress... at least that's my understanding

one of my fortresses is probably a CS job. the blonde one has an ultraslim neck, the red 2tek a "mid-size" standard warwick neck

OK since I am having major motivational challenges here when it comes to photographing my matching purple Fortresses, I am going to do the unthinkable and use my MM5's previous owner's pic as a placeholder. I will follow up with a picture of the siblings in due course.

I trust that this earns me status as member number 11?

That is one great looking Fortress! I bet it sounds every bit as good as it looks. Eventually it would be very cool if you could post a picture of your Masterman 4 and Masterman 5 together. Same color, right? You are one lucky man!

It does sound good and I am working on a photo of the siblings. Hate to say it though-- I am not such a fan of the feel. Gonna play with the action but I may not be keeping the MM5 for long. :crying:

I really like the way these look with the pick guards on. I wish I could, but I can't join as I only own Corvettes :(

Just kidding!

I have a Fortress One in black that I purchased on the TB classifieds a few weeks ago and neglected to take any pictures. I subscribed and will be uploading pictures whenever I have the time/the sun comes out.

I wish I could join this club. I had a Fortress One that looks identical to fitz420's (although in better condition), but sold it to my buddy because I didn't like the cramped access to the 24th fret (this was during my wannabe-Victor-Wooten days when I was all over the place and was convinced I would ALWAYS need access to that. Stupid) He still has it and plays regularly for a church. He's been offered money a few times from guys wanting to buy it right on the spot. I agree they're severely undervalued, I bought mine about 10 yrs ago for $550.
