Warwick with EMG

My old Custom Fortress MasterMan (bought it new, '98) had EMG's installed at the factory by my request. Same goes with the Kahler. The pickup is EMG35DC, and it has 3-band EMG EQ (sweepable mids) running at 18 volts.

When recording, I always get compliments about the bass being so clear sounding and absolutely noise-free.

I had my local Guitar Center tech replace the MEC 2-band preamp with the EMG BQC Control 3-band preamp with a variable midrange control (his suggestion) in my 2001 Thumb 5 Bolt-on and left the MEC pickups in. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! STUNNING RESULTS!!! The Warwick growl and punch are still there-just enhanced!!!!

Nice bass. Almost looks like Les Claypool's bass.
