Well,

I have a Washburn Lyon LB-40. Korean I believe, 24 frets and loaded with Lindy Fralin pickups. It's a P/J with a super thin neck and it's my bring along when I don't mind leaving a bass in the car for a while, bass! :)

It's funny, but it is super light, gets the job done and I've had it for YEARS.......Embarrassing enough, I have two....I have a backup for my backup!:rollno:

got some pics of my axe...soooooo sexy

I have a bunch of basses(mostly Fender) but I am about to become the owner of my second Washburn. I have an Acoustic Electric prototype that was at the Namm show back in the late 90's (a one of a kind) that I used to use on jazz gigs and I just picked up an XB900 from Ebay for about 375.00... I always played single coil pickups ( mostly fender jazz)and wanted to try a Humbucker in somthing without spending a tone of cash. This XB 900 seemed like a safe bet. I've only read good things about it so I guess we'll find out.

u still have your washburns liltommy? if you dont, what were your reasons for getting rid of them

Still have them - the axess has been modified to use the roland Vbass (1st version) and the CB 16 is what I use when my students want to learn six string.
I also have two wishbasses and an alembic loaded Fender jazz.

The axess is pretty much retired after 15 years of constant use. I don't have the heart to get rid of it:crying:

@ walkinfool, the xb900 is a great bass! you will definatly enjoy playing it, very comfortable neck.
@liltommyg, definatly dont get rid of that axess, hang it on the wall, probobly many a memory behind that one.
LETS SEE SOME PICS OF THESE BEATUIFUL WASHBURNS!

The thing that got me into bass was seeing a Flame top green tint six string Washburn in a shop. I have never played bass but I wanted that so bad.

All the Washburn owners, your basses converted me. I still don't own one, but I have fond memories of that first look.
