I assume that they need to be made from a precise and proprietary alloy of melted down D'addario 170XLs, PCB, and the mineral oil extracted from NOS capacitors.

I use a high brass content nickel alloy in banjo size. Will this be a problem. Is there any warranty stipulation for scale length, because it's complicated.

...which makes one ponder the quality of the preamp if it sounding good depends on a specific string.
