Wearing hats while playing; yes or no?

Just had a disturbing thought.... Didn’t Tiny Tim wear one too?.... Oh I hope not...

Not as far as I know. That would be a truly terrible thing if he did. Hat or no hat, I hope he’d come around here no more.

This is the kind of hat I usually wear on stage
Yeah, that's what I refer to as a driving cap. I have one in campbell plaid (Blue and Green) that I wore backwards on my head at a gig in 1997 and have worn it the same way ever since. By the way, I never wear any other cap backwards. Don't know what "inspired" me to do so with that cap.

For all of us who need glasses:

"Guys are eager to put on elegant clothing, hats, shoes and other devices".

One of the most striking accessories for man to show their beauty.... are hats

...which are fairly popular in guys fashion world. :D:laugh::roflmao:

@wisebass post above is what I understand is a driver's hat, Is this design, you idea of a driver's cap? I looked at the attachment, and not attached pic. They are very similar.

View attachment 2869130 Well, I found a reasonably decent hat in a closet I hadn’t looked in for a long time (no skeletons though ). I have absolutely no recollection of when or where I got it. Probably a thrift store. Looks better than I thought it would I think.
Looks good. Some black rimmed glasses or full-framed tort might go with it. Or shades! :) And even a 'stache! With the right outfit, I think you'll pull it off!

Shades definitely, because everyone looks better with shades on. I had a stache for 30 years but I had a consistent problem with dry skin underneath it so it went away. Too much grey there as well. I like the idea of a beard but they’re way too itchy.

They’re there, but I like to keep my hair as short as possible. I have let it grow out a bit now because it’s been cold. It must be a good 1/4” long now. It makes me feel like a hippie ...hey man can you dig it?.
At least you still have your hair!

Mine is usually 3"-4" long. Kinda layered. Kinda looks like snow on a dark roof.

I kept it short for decades. Since I still have people that love me at 64, I let it grow a bit.

See my avatar. That was just the beginning during that time.
