Best thing I've ever had screamed at me by a wedding coordinator (and I mean screamed):

"I specifically told the booking agent: No ORANGE extension cords!"

if i had a nickle for every time the part planner has said that to me.

I remember walking into one party with my guitar player. he was carrying his amp (2x12, so its pretty bulky). within 3 seconds of walking in the door, the planner asked if we brought any smaller amps with us!! as if we have a stockpile of amps to choose from in my hyundai.

Last week, the planner told us that she would have had the bandwiches ready for that long spell between sound check and first set, except that most bands don't ask for the food to be ready before they play.
Apparently it is the tradition at this country club that you eat while playing.
