Just got my second Bongo (sold the first one last year) today! Sapphire Black 5 HHp. My head is still spinning from the potential versatility! Can I get a number?

Sure! But a pic is mandatory. :)

Hey! mattsk42 (Club founder) replied to my PM and told me that he's been busy and that it's OK with him if I assume the leadership. So please remember: If you want to join the Bongo Club, just post a picture of your Bongo(s) here and I will give you a number. Ideally, you should add your club membership number to your signature.

Hi All, I've been a member here for a just a short while, and I'm a proud Bongo owner (for about a month, still on the honeymoon) but I'm really looking for some sound advice before I do something drastic.
I'm going to school and only work a few hours a week as a personal trainer. My free gym m'ship expired since I don't have enough clients, and with the slow economy, I don't see that changing. So now I'll be building my home gym. Trouble is, I don't have the necessary startup funds, which is as little as $200-$300. So here's where I need the advice: do I sell the Bongo, get something halfway decent, and drop the remaining cash on my gym (fitness is very important to me, as much as my music) or do I find alternatives? Is it worth letting the Bongo go to get a lesser comparative (i.e. Ibanez ATK, Lakland 44-01, G&L Trib L-2K, etc.)? I've read reviews on those basses? Not looking to hijack here, but didn't want to start a new thread for something as menial as my little problem...

Wow, this is my first pic and club!! :hyper::hyper:

Bought her 1 yr ago on clearance from Guitar Center, $900!! My original bass is a 1976 Jazz. Played this Bongo and in the first 60 sec, I was done. She plays fast, sounds awesome. Love the HH.

Can I have a number?
