Well...piss on a pog.

Yup. After a stressful week when I couldn't seem to wind down, my wife sent me to the basement encouraging me to play. Thought I'd plug in the Bass VI, looper pedal, etc. And what do I find? My cat pissed on my brand new pog.
Just had to share. Yes, I'm looking for sympathy. No need to tell me what to do with the cat...she's been with me 16 years and kept me out of a lot of trouble.

I'm sorry to hear that Gill. Honestly, I know how expensive pedals can really get (tbh I find they START at more expensive than I'd like and it just goes up from there). It's not just about the monetary value of the thing either - it sounds like you really wanted to get in on that action, and of course that's a massive letdown. But hey, at least the bass is still working, and I'm sure the pedal itself is probably fine, or at least it will be after a good tear-down and some cleaning up. It sucks though, I get that.

Yeah. I've already broken out the Simple Green. First World problem solved. Hopefully she doesn't go after the Pinarello Dogma I'm building up for work. Don't know how urine affects Di2. That's bicycle talk for a Fender Custom Shop bass on wheels.

Cats are nature's critics. My cats have both passed-on a few years ago but are still dearly missed by me. Any time I picked up an instrument, they would look at each other and dart out of the room. I didn't even have to play it. Just touch the instrument.
That's funny, because we have 3 cats...one likes to sit on the bass amp when I play, one goes bonkers and bounces off the walls to distorted guitar, and the 3rd is afraid of acoustic guitars.

"Just be glad the cat didn't piss in your Pog." may become my newest reply when somebody blabbin' at me makes a bigger deal out of something than it seems like it should be.

Example:
He- "Oh damn, i left my car window down halfway last night!"
Me- "Just be glad the cat didn't piss in your Pog."

Yeah, I'm on it. Vet appointment on Tuesday. The last few years she's been prone to UTI's, and that's when the pissin' starts.

I was hoping it was just me. My girlfriend's cat runs under the bed whenever I pick the thing up.

Mine didn't even like me picking up a ukulele. :D

The unfortunate thing about the ukulele is that most people don't. I kinda feel that too.
