Double Bass wenger ensemble stool

I'd like to know if anyone uses one of these for a bass stool:

It looks like a perfect cheaper alternative to the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], but I can't try before I buy so I'm fishing for approval...

I have one in my studio and love it. Found a round pillow at Ross Dept store that fits the top and use it all the time. Gets a little squeaky from time to time, but a very solid and comfortable stool.

Looks more like an Mercedes to me. Also, it looks too short.

Did you check the price on the Rolls Royce? If you have to ask...you can't afford it.

Can I ask where you bought it? The only way I see to get one is straight from Wenger.

Mine came from a local middle school ( when I donated a bass to the school)... I have a Butt cradle on another stool and I love it. I'm sure she can make one for you for this size.
