Ive never considered Sonic a place to tip. They essentially do the same job as the workers at Carls Jr.
I order my food, they bring it to me, end of transaction. The staff is not waiting on me in the way they would at Red Robin.

Actually, gas stations post prices at .9 because $3.49.9 sounds a lot less than $3.50 to many people.

Therefore, they are losing $1.2 million a year...

And "quarter-pounder" sounds more substantial than "four-ouncer" would.

After a gig a few months ago, we went back to the hotel room and were quite hungry. My BL had the trailer hitched up to the truck, so going through a drive-through would have been difficult. Instead, we walked through the drive-through at the McDonald's across the street. Pretty funny stuff...we even had cars lined up behind us as we waited at the window for our orders.

It's illegal to do that in my neck of the woods. If you're on foot they'll tell you to either walk inside or if the doors are closed, they'll make ya kick rocks.
