What amp do you use to practice?

G-K 400RB-III and a cab loaded with a JBL D130 (all original) that's always setup in my den. The D130 sounds great at low to medium volumes (means you can still talk to someone nearby and be understood).

Cafe Walter and headphones. I used to practice through an Eden 210XLT, but I moved into a condo, so headphones are more neighbor friendly.

I use two. For personal practice, I use the Acoustic B20 20 watt/1x12 speaker combo with both MP3/CD and headphone inputs. And the very portable Raven Labs PHA-1 headphone amp with Bose noise canceling headphones for traveling. With this unit, I'm also able to play along with Music. It's great I can practice anywhere, it runs on two 9V batteries. Practice is important.

Shuttle 6.0 and headphones. When I am learning a song for my cover band, I use the aux in on te amp to listen to either my laptop or MP3 player wihle playing my bass. All in te headphones.

For band rehearsal, I kick it up to a GK 400RB-III 210 Combo.

I've been using a Line6 lowdown 110 in my bedroom. Nice compact size, but I always had a hard time dialing in a sound..... so I picked up a Bassman 250/210 yesterday -- WOW, what sound. I have to keep it around 1-2 at home. Can't wait to kick the tires at band practice...!

I just turn off my 18" unless I am playing with the band then I just use my normal gear! MAKE IT LOUD!
