I have gone from having GAS to buying basses on impulse. My new Fender American Deluxe Dimension and the Rickenbacker 4003 W that I ordered were both spur of the moment purchases. I'm not GASing for anything, but impulse buying gear may be even more dangerous. (The moral of the story is don't go into a music store with cash in your pocket.)

I got riped off 2500$ by the bass maker that calls himself Rybski. I'm not going to stop until I get my money back or when everyone on the face of the earth knows what this guy is about!

Yeah, stop with the jumping into random conversations. This is not how talkbass works. If you want to be taken seriously, act in a way that is appropriate for this forum.

I have lately been wanting a Les Paul four string for some reason. I haven't played one but have heard nothing but good about them. Does anyone have any good input. I am going to have to order one off EB or something without checking it out. If anyone has any experience with one that would be great to hear from you.

I'm Gassing for this Am. Std. Precision to be delivered. It should show up December 31st, if everything goes ok. That Guitar Gallery of Sweetwater.com strikes again.

Sweetwater is great!!! I ordered a sweet Ibby 206 6'er demo. James Masterson is my sales engineer. Excellent!!! Sent me pics of actual bass, serial number, delivery date, even a follow up call thanking me for my order. It was a beauty, just as the pics showed!!! I emailed about a product not in stock, he emailed back telling me to give him a call, it was special order but he would "git er done" lol. So far I have nothing but great things to say about Sweetwater and their staff!!!

I go through Brent at Sweetwater. The Guitar Gallery is a blessing, and a curse. It is nice though, to see what you may be ordering. Ordering.

True that blessing and curse!!! The SR206SM I was looking at was a spalted maple top...saw this demo, had that flame that wasn't on the other basses and a good discount...BAM!!! GAS!!! BAM!!! DELIVERED!!! Oh well, I do love it, so that's what counts.
