Picked up a Yamaha BB1200S in amazing condition last week. Been on the lookout for years for one in this kind of shape. What a serious bass...and the preamp!!!

asked my parents for money, and my girlfriend got me a Dark Side of the Moon shirt 2 sizes too small, a hoodie, a big bag of Reese's Pieces, and some picks with pictures of M&Ms on them. My grandparents sent me a check with which I already bought a Neotech Mega Bass strap, a snark tuner, some strings, and some speed knobs. My aunt gave me her old Mac book. So yeah, pretty good holiday season for me.

Also, if you want to count it, I got two college acceptance letters in the mail this month from NC State and UNC Asheville

My kids and partners and I operate a secret Santa draw with a 20GBP limit. This year I drew my son in law who just happens to like single malt whisky and I found a good offer on Laphroaig, (one of the peatiest available, ok I went a bit over budget) so I hope he likes it otherwise I can always help out. I wont know what I have got until we all meet up at New Year.

Nice! I know a guy who goes to NC State, and one of my friends just got accepted there this month as well. I was really hoping for a Penn State/UMD acceptance letter before the holiday season, but they didn't deliver...waiting until January now.
