I'm currently re-reading a Carl Hiassen book from 25 years ago, "Tourist Season", which Wiki reveals was his first novel. I've also read "Strip Tease", which spawned the movie of the same name. Man, that guy knows how to write a hilarious page-turner! I need to pick up a couple more of his works.

Still reading History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Gibbon

Also reading

The Federalist Papers,
The Cello Suites: J.S. Bach, Pablo Casals and the Search for a Baroque Masterpiece by Silbin,
A Game of Thrones: A Song of Fire and Ice by Martin
Represent Yourself in Court by Bergman

Oh man, this is bad. I've run out of new books and the library won't be open until Tuesday afternoon.

Plan ahead, people! :rollno:

I guess I'll do the big dig through my own and find something worth re-reading.

An American Demon, by Jack Grisham singer for T.S.O.L. (80s punk/hardcore band, still touring!). It's billed as a memoir. That dude was NUTS. He writes the book in a narrative third person style, stating that he isn't human but really a demon. He writes it from the demon's point of view. It's basically a tell-all of what a jerk he was for a long time. Since I was married to someone who was just as manipulative and evil I could really relate. It's a great read for anyone who is a fan of T.S.O.L.
