I've been reading all of Drew Karpyshyn's books lately. I've gotten though 2/3 of the Mass Effect series (Revelation and Ascension) and the Darth Bane series (Path Of Destruction, Rule Of Two, and Dynasty Of Evil). I starting reading them after I saw the Mass Effect books in a store and saw the writer was also the lead writer of the video game, so I thought they must be good.
He has a new Star Wars book coming out in a few days (Nov. 15) called Revan. It's supposed to tell more of the Knights Of The Old Republic story (which he was also a writer on), and I am super nerdy fanboy exited as the KOTOR series is probably my favourite video game ever.

I just added "Chromatic: The Crossroads of Music and Color" by Chris Force to my wish list. I've been doing a lot of research on synesthesia ie. "hearing colors" and this book has a chapter dedicated to that subject.

Can't recall the title, but I just started one about the epic Bette Davis vs Joan Crawford feud. What a coupla world-class beeyotches from Hades. I think I already mentioned Bill Wyman's *Stone Alone*, an autobio/Stones narrative.

Just finished IN DUBIOUS BATTLE: Steinback, again. Always hard to put his books down. Time for sci-fi now, have to search out something good.
I haven't read these yet but I've read several of Kim Stanley Robinson's books and they all were great.
Just because something may be moronic does not mean its a waste of one's time. For instance, Im currently reading "Children of the Matrix" by David Icke, and while I think he is a bit of a nut, and if you overlook the conspiracy aspect of the book, there is some useful information in their regarding ancient civilizations.
