What did you think of it?
I stopped reading after two-thirds of the book. I was just extremely annoyed by this guys complete lack of preparation/gear/etc. To me it read like one of the most elaborate suicides in the history of man. I like his concept, surviving in the wild, independence, etc, but the basic rules of eating plants that you don't know (hand-lip-mouth etc) could have saved his life.

For school? I had to read that last winter for a Philosophy class. Really cool imagery in there.
Who cares about the imagery? There are some really good ideas and arguments in there. EDIT - I'm a philosophy student.
