What are your "Always On" effects?

My MXR Analog Chorus set to the grunge setting thats showed in the manual. Just love that sound. I also use my MXR Deluxe Fuzz about 95% of the time.

The Linden just pounds lows and the Compressor keeps everything tight

My Empress compressor is always on because it gives me a nice volume balance and a little extra sustain, and then my TB1200 does the rest.

I do use a peterson tuner stomp box now,

and had a strobo-flip before that...

I never turned off my malekko assmaster fuzz for about two years in my band. Then I went for Dwarcraft ECT, and was always on too. Currently I'm running Dark Driving, ecxellent 'always on' drive. Haha, I've almost forgotten how clean signal sounds in the mix

I know the feeling.. I almost always have some sort of dirt going... and am always suprised how great clean can sound. mix it up!! pedals that SHAPE clean tone are great though.

EBS Multicomp. After having it for awhile, my tone feels bland without it.

For my solo stuff, I leave the EHX Memory Toy on almost all the time, with the modulation switch on. It sounds... almost like the delay is sick, discoloured. But I like it. I also have the hardwire dl8 looping something or other pretty much all the time.

Depending on where the resonance knob is, I'll leave the IE Xero on all the time, With the exp all the way toe down and no resonance, it sounds basically the same as bypass. Which is awesome, because sometimes I'm too lazy to switch on a pedal to get awesome funk.

I never used to have an "always on" pedal. However, as I have the cleanest solid-state amp that has ever been made, and that isn't an exaggeration, I needed a little grit. Towards that end, I now have a Catalinbread Formula no. 5 (which likes my SG) and a Way Huge Red Llama clone (which doesn't like my SG, but it does sound nice). They are always on.

What would that amp be? I need to get me one of those.

Aggie Tone Hammer into a VT Bass. Always on.

Hmm, interesting. I use a Pork Loin in front of my Tone Hammer. I tried placing it after and didn't care for the tone. Both of these pedals are always on and since I have added a Barge Concepts VB-Jr. I'm in heaven. I thought the Pork Loin was awesome before but the ability to truly blend it makes it even better.

Only the TLC stays on full time. EBS Multidrive is usually on too, but not always.

Always on: Keeley 4-knob compressor, not super squished but just enough compression. Really warms up my tone.

My EBS MicroBass II (as an A-B switch), ValveDrive (for tubey goodness) & Wah-One (as a volumepedal mostly) are always on!

Ebs MultiComp is always on, my MultiDrive is almost all the time on, just adding a little tubegrit to make it sound a little warmer.

MXR Analog Chorus with the lows filtered out. MXR Carbon Copy at super low settings (creates a really thick sound without muddying it up). EHX Steel Leather.

Of course I also have the Gain/blend on my amp (fender 100t) almost maxed out at all times too

+1 on the VT Bass. Sometimes the Deluxe. I use the LR Baggs PAra EQ for anything acoustic too. The VT is all I really need though and I rarely turn it off.

My Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter and GEB-7 Bass EQ are always on. Everything else is on an "as needed" status.
