What are your "Always On" effects?

I'm a newcomer to bad monkey, thanx to the corrupting influence of TB'ers
I must say I have found it to be a very sensitive and useful little box - quite interesting. lately I'm using it all the time, mainly in a subtle way to add what I would term 'intensity' to the signal. if you weren't a bass pro and heard the tone you would have a difficult time knowing it was there, until I hit the 'off' switch, then it would be glaring.

I always have some combo of my Bad Monkey, Submarine, and PC-2A on.
I like to have a little grit, light compression, and tone sweetening.

MXR M80, and recently the B3K at low gain settings. I like what it does on my flanger and BEF.

The only always on effect I have is the Barber Linder EQ I use with my upright when I double. Otherwise, nothing.

I had the linden for a while but I ran so much dirt it really didn't seen to make a difference but I loved it when I using just clean tone

I'm just using it on my upright to match volumes and tones with my electric so it works for my purposes.

Yea I loved it while I had it , but it wasn't making any difference in my money making projects so had to clear it out to fund things to help those projects. Kind of regret it now.

So am I really the only one here using the BBE Sonic Maximizer as an always on? (BTW, it's my only always on for the moment, I'm trying to add a good compressor as an always on as well but haven't found the right setting for it yet)

Actually I completely forgot about my rack yes with my band I use the 482 as an always on.

2 channel setup from Attitude bass:

P p/up (highs) into -> eq to remove low end (always on) -> compressor (always on) -> light overdrive -> (nearly always on) -> distortion (used sparingly)

Neck woofer p/up (lows) -> eq to remove mud (always on) -> compressor (always on)

Both mixed via LS-2 (always on, obviously) -> tuner (on when needed) -> fuzz (used sparingly)
