Hi. My name is Woody and I am an art student/guitarist/singer/songwriter and I love blues and folk music and all things Americana. The Beach Boys are the reason I play music. I'm looking for like-minded musicians to form a band or would also be interested in joining an existing band provided they share my goal of revolutionizing rock and roll.
I'm relisting this ad due to no responses. C'mon people, you know me, I'm currently the lead singer for the 101ers but am tired of playing blues and R&B. Willing to change my name, hairdo, wardrobe, etc. and not afraid to make a political statement with my music.
Ah, the Woody thing threw me there. The Clash.
And Spank. I, for one, give up.
Page 6, already! Nobody's gotten my #45, yet. I can reveal the answer, if asked.
A final clue for #45: Think of the most eclectic (in terms of style-hopping) singer-songwriter to emerge from the late 70's, and remember that he is not Elvis Costello.
"Hanna-Barbera Productions looking for actors for new psychedelic Saturday morning TV show. Musical experience helpful but not required. Must be willing to wear an animal costume. Pilot to air in August 1969. Please call Sid or Marty."

The Banana Splits.
I always thought there was a lawsuit in there somewhere between Hanna-Barbera and Bob Marley's estate.
The Banana Splits theme song; "Tra-la-la, la-la-la-la,"
and the refrain in Buffalo Soldier-"Oy-yoy-yo, oy-yoy-yoy-yo,"
Carry on...

No other guesses on post #75 from this morning?
I'd a thunk that was an easy one.
Ambitious rock trio with prog leanings looking for a skilled bass player. Stage antics not required; singer has that covered. The odd hit song written would be appreciated.
Partridge Family?
Tool?
