What beer are you drinking right now? Part III

Has anyone tried the Clown Shoes beers? I like the labels and names they come up with. The first one I would try would be Tramp Stamp. If you have tried them are they any good?

Ive had one of them, but I dont remember which Ale it was. I saw the Tramp Stamp this past weekend and almost bought it.

It's from a micro called "le naufrageur" in gaspesie (region of the quebec province).

I went to my usual drinking hole, they serve 8 Quebec microbrews at all time and never replace an empty keg with the same thing (it can take up to 2-3 months before you see the same beer again) and simply asked for the bartender's personal favorite of the moment. Nice surprise.

Every wednesday they do "IPA WEDNESDAYS" and at least five of the taps are IPA's. It's my favorite pub, very undeground. No sign. Obscure location. Great folks. Awesome beers.

Nice! We just started seeing Firestone on the market here, but I haven't seen this one yet. So far I have been able to try the regular DBA and the double Jack, both were great.

Well I live in Western New York; there isn't an awful lot of firestone here either. I got this in a trade from a friend in California.

In l.a.there a few good burger joints that offer excellent micros: Stout, Laurel Tavern, & Umami Burger. All excellent, rich gourmet burgers, all craft beers. Umami has the widest tap selection
