I was a long time user of Chrome until recently I noticed it was slowing down and eating a lot of system resources in the process. I started using Brave browser more recently. It's based on Chromium however their big focus is on privacy while blocking ads and trackers. I like there is no apparent real need for me to install an ad-blocker extension and also it is speedy. I still use Edge/IE from time to time when need be. Random off topic, but what browser are you guys using/favor and why?
After one month of using the Brave browser on my Pixel, it claims to have saved me an hour of time.
That's cool.

Well Brave didn't last long.Today I loaded Brave (Ubuntu 18.04 MATE) and will give it a shot for a while.
Well Brave didn't last long.
I couldn't get it to load Whatsapp web*, I assume that it stalled trying to either load adds or put cookies on my PC (both blocked by Brave), neither of which I want and because Firefox and Chrome both work (with Ghostery addon blocking everything) I will carry on using either of those. What was the issue with Brave?
I like the browser. I wish it had sync (passwords and history specifically) functionality between devices.

Just realized I didn't mention it in my first post in this thread, but yeah, I used to use Avast Browser, but as was the case with Chrome and Edge, my computer was crashing while using it...Anybody use Avast Browser?
I have it, but use Chrome still...unless I shouldn't??
