I've been using Firefox exclusively for a while now. I very rarely use IE. Only when FF wont display something correctly. Chrome really didn't sway me from using FF, mostly because all the add-ons that are available for FF>

At the moment, though,....FF is giving me some grief.
I use FF with the Google toolbar, and it seems they aren't playing well together. Any time I do a search from the toolbar, or even right from the Google website Firefox will crash as soon as I hit enter. It will happen like 5-6 times in a row, and then it's fine. Restart FF and it will happen again.

Anybody else having this problem?
I'm going to try reinstalling FF (already reinstalled the Google toolbar), but if it doesn't work I may go to Chrome.

I used Opera for the longest time. These past couple of years it's been mostly Firefox, and that's mainly because of the excellent AdBlock Plus plugin. I would never click an ad anyway, so why should I even see them? Opera has something similar, but it's more work and is not as effective in that it doesn't remove the space the "blocked content" sits in. Still, I maintain both browsers on my system and sometimes switch between them, especially when doing website work. FF also has a good plugin to switch page rendering to the IE engine if need be.

I used to use Firefox until they screwed it up. It used to be fantastic, but now it just crashes all the time. My friend says they supposedly started redoing the code and reorganizing it or something and it just doesn't cut it anymore.

Chrome is so much more stable, so much better, there's very little to the top of it, you get most of the screen for the website. It's nice and clean. Simple. Just what i want. And I just learned today it saves where you were if you do something stupid like me and have the computer's plug in with the light switch and end up turning it off accidentally.

Just curious which browsers y'all use when viewing your favorite forum. ;) And why? Me? Google Chrome. I like it's better memory management and speed. Granted, I use to think "c'mon, with broadband internet, do the millisecond differences in browser rendering speed really matter?" But it turns out Chrome is noticeably faster for me. Lastly, with the advent of extensions for Chrome, Firefox lost its last great advantage in my eyes. What about you?

Firefox for me.

A convenient (included with Ubuntu) balance of reliability, performance, flexibility, and security.

I run Mac OS X, didn't upgrade to Snow Leopard yet. Firefox mostly, as mentioned earlier.

Opera on Mac feels clumsy. It has all these nice features, but they take most of the screen real estate. I just wanna browse.

I've read a number of posts here and on Basschat re Firefox running slower in recent times. As it runs well on my Ubuntu Studio 9.10 rig, I'm curious as to which operating systems the Firefox slowdown may be occurring on.

BTW. Have you seen Invalid Link Removed?

That video is 9 minutes and 45 seconds long, there'd better be something good in it, like boobies.
