If the word because was replaced with otherwise I'd totally agree with you. I think that's what you meant when you said "had better". Basically both men and women shouldn't be thinking with just the little head.
No, I meant what I wrote. It's hard for that passion to stay at the same level for a long time and once it decreases, they darn well better like each other because they won't have many reasons to want to hang out together. I'm not saying they need to be joined at the hip 24 hours a day- each needs time to do something apart from the other but when a couple is all lovey-dovey at first and then seem like they can't buy a conversation, someone could use an egg timer to tell when the relationship is over unless inertia is so strong that neither will bother to end it. They need to be true friends who aren't afraid to say what's on their minds without fear of the other sticking a fork in the relationship. I don't mean they get a free pass to be a weapons-grade A-hole, but honesty is needed. Honesty, with a bit of tact.
Used to joke with my friends who were talking about getting married. I'd tell them before you do get a subscription to Married Man's Monthly. When they asked why I'd tell them it's like Playboy but it's got the same centerfold every month.
The problem with strange restaurants? Never know what you're gonna get.
Eating out is over rated. Comfort food and home cooking is where it's at. Less chance of food poisoning.
I'm too lazy to train another cook - this one knows exactly how I like it.
