What clip on tuners are you using?

Clip ons are convenient for playing at home. I have one for just about every instrument, and the brands I keep coming back to are D'Adario and Snark. What are you using and how do you like 'em?

I use D'Adario the most. I'm curious about the Polytune and Unitune, though. I like clip-on tuners, but I wish they worked better in loud environments.

Never had an issue with my poly, except with an acoustic electric bass.
This is loud bar band environment.

TC Electronic Polytune clip tuner, I have used mine for almost 10 years. Works well even in loud enviroments. I have mine set in bass mode so the polytune function is off.

I like this - pretty much invisible from the front on my black headstock.
Great to just kill the volume on the bass in the middle of a set and tune acoustically...

Another vote for the TC E polytune. the only tuner I use (and I own several now).

I have the Peterson too. I haven't used it enough yet but I thought maybe the low B was not registering as quickly.

they're convenient anywhere!

i'm using the D'Addarios that @vickerekes mentioned in his post because they're low profile and i can keep them attached to the headstocks in the gigbags. but i also have snarks and a few others. they all work great --- clip-ons are the bomb!

TC Unitune for me, I have a Polytune but find the polyphonic tuning pointless. I also have a Mooer clip-on that is pretty much a Unitune clone.

Used to love my Snarks but two things put me off… the tendency to snap at the ball joints and the surface going horribly sticky.

Have gone over to the TC Electronics UniTune Clips now. They are rock solid in both build and tuning. Very very happy with them. So much so I’ve got three now!
