Grateful, you've really got me looking into deep orangeburst now. I think that may be the color to go with. Matching headstock, birdseye maple board, gold hardware, black pickguard.

I think that would look fantastic. I've never been a fan of gold hardware but I think it would work well in this case.
My B25 is regular orangeburst/ebony with gold hardware and it seems to work without being gawdy. There are pictures on the Carvin wesite and in the catalog or Tom Barney's bass that is OB/Maple and it is frikkin' gorgeous IMHO....
That's odd, I don't even see an option for "regular orangeburst". It looks to me like it only comes in deep orangeburst. Either way, the color is freakin gorgeous and I'm pretty sold at this point.
I said regular orangeburst because I bought it in-stock from the Carvin store and it just said 'Orangeburst' on the tag. Maybe it is deep. It's gorgeous, that's fer sher.
Well everyone, thank you so much for your replies and suggestions. I'm pretty sure I've finally settled on the deep orangeburst with a maple board, matching headstock, black pickguard, and gold hardware.
