Even factoring inflation and such $399-$1599 is way the **** out of line. The really sad thing is none of the performers at the show in October are hurtin for cash in any way.

There is a festival around here that is going into it's third year, called BottleRock. 3 days over memorial day weekend in Napa, the cheapest ticket is for Saturday at $185. That is outrageous.
Paul McCartney 's in town tonight and tomorrow, nose bleed seats still available for $100 and up
He's the first act booked at the new, not-yet-finished Golden 1 Arena in my town of Sacramento. Not sure about the dates, though.
Today I learned that I'll be going to see the Punch Bros. at the Georgia Theater in Athens tomorrow night!

Did you know that canary, as the islands in the Atlantic are called, is not in reference to the small yellow bird or budgie, but rather it references a derivative of canine, or dog. Therefore the translation of the name of the breed would be Dog of Presa Dog. Also Presa is a small village in Slovenia.
Anyway, that's a big dog.
I have just received information that I will be cutting the lawn tomorrow...
I learned that some 24 hour medicine lasts less than 12 hours. Others which are better work almost exactly 24 hours.

...and speaking of cutting grass...We have a small strip of grass (8ft?). that fronts the residential road out front of the house. I cut the grass Tues. and built a kind of monument to the asshats who have thrown garbage out the window as they rode by our house.
