What did you learn today?

No, they are just thugs, animals who should be locked up and the key thrown away, if not executed. Think of the victims.

What a well-reasoned and accurate rebuttal of those who believe criminals should be accountable for their actions and victims and their families should be respected. :eyeroll:

I know, there are no thugs, there are no "animals" who have zero regard for the law, there are only misunderstood victims of poor upbringing and social oppression who should be given a cozy dorm, a free masters degree, and a $70,000/yr salary... then they would stop trying to hurt us. :rollno: :roflmao:

Actually it was joke, one I thought even you might enjoy.

But seriously, you treat people like animals, they become them.

Very few of us are entirely without a sense of remorse and empathy, true 'monsters', and very few are pure good, incapable of doing harm or acting reirehrnsubly. Every psychological experiment, every study of comparative models of incarceration or treatment, points to the sheer failure of meeting violence with more violence, treating only the symptoms of crime, etc. etc.

Your way is just not working, and my way just is. But you won't do the research, follow my links, consider the alternatives, and like I did with my joke you take extreme examples to make a point.

"Didja hear the one about the guy who paid $500 to go to a rock n roll show?"
"I went to Watkins Glen for $15 and a promise to bring along an extra bottle of wine..."
