What did you learn today?

Early this morn, I was back up on that ladder with the leaf blower on my back for the 30th time in 15 years, and I STILL expected the blower to move all the compost that had collected in the gutters. I'm very glad I had my gloves on.
Some things just WON'T be learned...
(Like..."Donna Lee"...:rollno:)

I learnt today
Donna Lee

"Donna Lee" is a bebop jazz standardcomposed by Miles Davis (originally attributed to Charlie Parker).[1][2] Written in A-flat, it is based on the chord changes of the jazz standard "(Back Home Again in) Indiana".[1]Beginning with an unusual half-bar rest, "Donna Lee" is a very complex, fast-moving chart with a compositional style based on four-note groups over each change.

Today I learned that I really don't learn something every day, but then I realized that meant I learned something. And of course, now I learned whatever you all told me, too.

And now, having read this, I learned that you really don't learn something every day, but then you realized that that meant you learned something, and then I realized that meant that I learned all that from reading all that.

So, thanks!

Today I learned to absolutely not trust anything anybody has done at work to set anything up "for" me, because it will absolutely positively be WRONG and then it will be MY fault, because I cannot FORCE anybody to give a ****.
...to hit 'like' would be wrong, but BY GAWD, I know Exactly what you're feeling! :banghead:
