Early this morn, I was back up on that ladder with the leaf blower on my back for the 30th time in 15 years, and I STILL expected the blower to move all the compost that had collected in the gutters. I'm very glad I had my gloves on.

And now, having read this, I learned that you really don't learn something every day, but then you realized that that meant you learned something, and then I realized that meant that I learned all that from reading all that.

Today I learned to absolutely not trust anything anybody has done at work to set anything up "for" me, because it will absolutely positively be WRONG and then it will be MY fault, because I cannot FORCE anybody to give a ****.
...to hit 'like' would be wrong, but BY GAWD, I know Exactly what you're feeling!
I learned that bringing an early 70s tube powered PA amp on the subway is a great way to make friends.
On the other side of that coin...I've lived with Two Shepards who could not be described by anyone as anything but 'Brilliant'...

Today I learned that I can perform the 60,000 mile service on my car for less than $100.00, when the Saab repair guy wanted $400.00 for it.
