Our guitarist and I went to see him a few years back. When he did his walkabout he sat in the empty seat next our guitarist, it made his year.
Our guitarist has 2 Buddy Guy signature Strats, a black one with white spots and the rarer white with black spots. They are MIM I believe and are superb guitars, he prefers the pickups to any of his USA Strats.
Saw him open for the Stones last year. He's still great!
I learned that Predator drones are actually pretty quiet.

I learned WAAAY more than I ever wanted to know about Brock Allen Turner...
I learned that some people have a serious need for validation.
I learned that some people take offense to completely innocuous comments.
I learned that some people feel the need to quote and taunt in order to somehow aggrandize themselves.
These types tend to post relentlessly. Only to edit original thread titles and OPs. They post, quote, edit, re-quote, re-post and or delete posts altogether so as to redirect and/or take conversations out of context because the responses don't conform to the their specific train of thought, belief or intent of conversation.
People be "mental" yo.
I learned that some people on the internet seem to think they are impervious to "contradictory" response. Perceived or otherwise. Hell, responses period.
I learned that posting every thought, contrary opinion, complaint about modern societies inconsequential antics, society at large and general frustrations with internet forum participants gets a lot of attention. Which is exactly what some crave.
Me, not so much.

That there is now a solar & battery-powered multi-signal transmitter system that will allow me to "save" about $200K expense of underground conduit & wiring IF approved. Sent email and now we wait for vendor's user and location list along with the unit this is for to review the proposal.

I thought I could circumvent this by using silver solder, but I could not. I did create some amazing new swear words in trying to use the ROHS stuff though!
