TIL about Infant Self Rescue. Basically it's a technique they teach infants (6-12 month old's) how to float on there back until help arrives. Scared the CRAP out of me the first time I saw it.

TIL that my college art professor passed away. I don't think I'd spoken to him since I graduated, as I was sure I would just blend into the endless faces of past students, but I had a good relationship with him, and he was a fine professor.

Hmm. You may be right But one may get different answers to the same question, sometimes. I'm learning so much - spirituals have always been a part of my musical life but they've taken on some new meaning, recently

I learnt today, via another thread, that one of the most purchased beers in the world is, apparently, not very popular and that it, unbeknownst to me, sucks. I further learned that knowledge of its ingredients and how it came to be so popular/unpopular overrides my opinion that it is a pleasant beverage to consume upon occasion.
