What did you learn today?

I learned to believe her right away, when our 6 year old grand daughter tells me that she doesn't feel well enough to go to VBS.
I kept telling her she would be just fine when she got there and saw all her friends.
Right now, she's just out of the bath, and dead asleep, and I'm heading outside to hose down her car seat...

Today I learned that our local Michael's (crafty, hobby, etc.) store employs 4 young people with Multiple face piercings and BLUE, and GREEN, and ORANGE, and MORE SUPER GREEN hair...and Every one of them was a Remarkable employee who was happy to go above and beyond their pay grade to help me frame a beautiful picture of my Beautiful grand daughters!
I wrote a Highly complimentary email to the local store, and to corporate, mentioning each by name.
It's been a while since I was that impressed by a 'retail' encounter!

It wasn't today, but I recently learned that Petsmart now allows visible tattoos and piercings - several years ago they did not allow these in their employees.

I've known it, but it's been reminded to me twice in as many days.

Two days ago I got accused of promoting Ibanez too much & today for promoting the 4004 series of Rickenbacker too much.
One put me on ignore, which is a blessing, because now that person won't be nagging me about having an opinion contrasting theirs.
