What do you do when stuff gets thrown at you?

never had anything thrown at ME
but i once played with a really sh*t punk band when i was about 16 the guitarist was a fairly big dude called Nick who was about 20 years old or so
anyway we played a gig at a local open jam night all the other bands were either light hearted rock n roll or cover bands (all of which were really cool guys too)
but with nick wanting to prove how "punk rock" he was decided to be a d*ck and a bully to all the other bands much to my distaste (i cant stand bullies and as i said the other bands were really cool)
anyway we end uponstage playing our appauling redition of last caress by the misfits when a member of one of the other bands throws something onstage (in good hummour i think it was a pair of boxers)
nick throws his guitar down and runs towards this poor little bloke and gets right up in his face..... next thing i hear a loud crunch and Nick is crumpled up on the floor having been knocked clean out by this bloke to the applause of the crowd

worst part about this story is that was the only applause our band got that night
but the moral either practice more or walk off stage confrontation does not always go well

I get stuff thrown at me all of time. Like: The original key is C but let's do it in Ab, or this is a swing tune but it isn't on the set list, the key is F .."don't worry you'll hear it!" Yep, that's what I get!!.. I'm still waiting for the bra and panties!
