Playing in my home town, in Windsor, we always like to get Falafel Shawarma, I go for garlic, hummus, lettuce, pickles, deep-fried eggplant, cauliflower, and tahini sauce on mine. They are what our city is known for, the amazing shawarma lol
Usually a bucket of nails and wash it down with sulfuric acid
I do not eat anything within two hours of a show. I sing as well as play. If I eat too close to the show, I won't sing well.
Got paid in food at a gig when I first started playing. But the kitchen would be closed when we finished the show, so we had to eat our pay *right* before we played.
I was first up at the mic. I opened my mouth to sing...and belched like a walrus, straight into the mic.
It echoed. For miles.
Cherie
Is that so? Do you have jumbo shrimp? My guess is that theyre pretty closely related.
I wouldnt know, I dont eat meat anymore.
i dunno about other people (maybe its cause im in my teens) but the best thing fro me is fast food. a chippy or a pizza. it fills your up and makes you wanna burn the calories off whilst running around on stage. no energy drinks! if you have a can of monster or summin before a gig in 10 minutes your legs will be like lead! flat cola seems to work with me, but im just weird like that.![]()
I humbly submit that only a Californian could come up with something like this. That's not meant as a slight, but simply a cultural observation.
My preference is to have a late lunch, involving curried lamb, hard-boiled eggs, bean salad with loads of garlic and onions, or if that's not possible, fast-food burgers with chilli sauce. If I'm on a bit of a health kick I might just have the bean salad with extra chilli. All washed down with lots and lots of beer.
