What do you Eat before gig

I do a lot of singing so I usually don't eat other than liquid bread.

this was my pre-gig meal last night. I have to eat something before a gig. this, at least, maybe other than the rice, is pretty healthy.

The trendy place we play gives a food/drink allowance for each band member so I usually get 3 pulled pork tacos which are just right and not too heavy

I used to eat a box of cereal at/before gigs. I have always had a bad/nervous stomach. Honey Nut Cheerios or Apple Jacks.

Nowadays I barely gig but eat more, maybe a pbj and a banana or so. I’m vegan so I am limited in what I can chow on at a typical bar.

Depends on the travel time and when the show starts. I don't want to be starved and I don't want to be stuffed when it's showtime.

I usually have to drive a while to a gig, so I can't do dinner as usual. I'm pretty picky about what I eat, but not on gig night. If we're playing a bar and they have food I'll eat whatever heart attack they provide. Or grab a sub in the town we're playing in etc.

I used to never eat before gigs, just caffeine. I can't do that now, so assuming the gig is late I just eat 3 light meals (healthy stuff, no grease) throughout the day but make sure the last meal is about 3 hours before. I eat a small 4th meal when all is done.

Nah, maybe 1 sometimes 2, usually eat after.
Our guitar player fast due to medications he takes. If he eats he'll fall asleep, so he's a hungry monster after a gig.

It depends on the show. For my previous band, where we'd use a trailer and a truck for playing multi-band rock shows, i'd eat a really big lunch and toss a granola bar or two in my bag, then eat after the show (or grab pizza if the bar has it). If i'm driving directly to the show, and I have an early load in, i'll grab Jimmy Johns and eat on the way there, then usually eat when I get home.
