Thanks, Mika! Yes, that really is his name. Rebel Journey James Mathis. Born on the 25th anniversary of Cliff Burton's death - we've determined that being a bassist is his destiny, so he's getting every opportunity (as are the other grandbabies) with music.

Rebel and Journey are not typically used as names for people, so I wondered aloud if there was a background to choosing those two names.

Mike is a name commonly given to males, so there is nothing to get about it.
