What do you put Worcestershire sauce on?

Don’t put it on anything. I do use it in a few sauces though. A small bottle lasts a very long while at my place.

Into burger meat before it hits the grill, and a few dashes in meatloaf before cooking.

When I was assigned to the USS America CV-66, in 1994, there was a bottle of Worcestershire and Tabasco on every table in the mess. I never had either until then. Well, we had Worst in basic training and always put it on eggs. I still put it on eggs. Love Tabasco still too. Here in Texas, Worst sauce is called Salsa Inglesa.

And I've accidentally poured it into dishes requiring Soy Sauce........ and the majority of them were just tasty, happy accidents!

I use it in a lot of stuff. When I make bbq sauce, a slather on the meat I'm going to smoke to help the rib adhere, in marinades, gravy, soups, all kinds of things. It's all about the umami, baby!

I use it as an ingredient in sauces or marinades. I DON’T put it directly on things like steaks or meats that will be seared/grilled/broiled because moisture is the enemy of good browning.

Back when I grilled ribeyes, I'd mix up a dipping steak sauce with Heinz 57, A-1, and Lea & Perrins, plus a bit of ketchup. I use a bit of it in my cocktail sauce to this day.

Definitely goes into the mix for homemade burgers. I also use it with butter for sautéing mushrooms when I don’t have any sherry on hand.

“Worst assure”.

I make a dipping sauce for pork dumplings, that is mainly balsamic vinegar and ginger. I add it to that for a little bite and kick. Tangy.
