I use it mostly like a condiment, except before (just before) cooking. Using it straight after cooking would be too much, but it's pretty great mixing in with the meat juices!1) Using it as sauce is wild. It's an ingredient, not a condiment.
2) It's pronounced woostersher in American English. That's it. Not complicated.
