Most good office chairs have arms that can be done away with. Being right-handed, one only needs to take the right arm out of the equation, but both come off, most of the time, here.

Because they roll and they pivot and they're adjustable, pneumatic, and ergonomic — the good ones — and there's a substantial backrest, it's a no-brainer. The modded office chair a safe bet.
 
I just got a cajon with a piezo pickup system so it also can go thru my pedals if I desire. But it is nice to drum a beat before I pick up my bass. Gotta leather cushion on it, works for me and looks nice in my music area.
