What do you think about this Fenderbird?

I recently built it using a nonreverse epiphone body and a vintage modified Squier pbass neck.

It also features SD pickups, hipshot bridge and a brass nut, plays smooth, weights a ton xD

I thought it was going to be a real pain in the crack but it ended being very workable, it only needed rechecking on the nut height, but that was expected.

Thanks for your input!

Cool looking bass. Much work needed on the neck pocket?
Not much actually, i widened the pocked a bit, i dont think it was more than 1mm on each side, as long as you go slow it aint really that troublesome, i routed but sanding would work aswell, probably even better.

I did noticed the pocket is squared shaped while the end of the neck was curved in the lower end, i sanded that one into a flat shape and it went inside nicely, at some point i considered chopping the last fret off to push the bridge further down the body, but it was too much work for a couple of cms.

I do remember i had to drill new holes for the neck screws, and also i used the pbass screws cause epis are thinner and longer and i was a little afraid ir would go through the fretboard, although they sit funny, not ugly just deeper, on the epiphone backplate

That looks great!
I'm surprised that the neck fits in the existing pocket without any intonation problems. (too far forward or back in the pocket).

Oh, I just noted that you changed the bridge, too.... well, then you could adjust the placement of the new bridge to get the intonation perfectly spot-on.

Killer!!!!
