Yeah I like the reddish color of the pg that I just stuck on there but think maybe its a little too red,looks great on my black p though!

Personally I'd go with the white pickguard and while I was at it I'd do the pickup covers too.

I'd say black. I have a '76 Stratocaster hardtail natural, and it has the black PG (of course it does, as far as I know they didn't put any other color on the naturals in the 70's).

Superquickie-down-n-dirty Photoshop. Found a pic of a slice o' the Tortloaf, slid it behind the bass, and erased the pickguard, letting the Tortslice show through. Don't look too close, it's kinda rough, but you get the idea.

That's it!! I love it the pickguard is fancier but it still lets that beautiful wood shine through.
