What does your home practice setup look like?

The quilter has since been replaced with a Gk Fusion 550!

Wow, you guys have some overkill practice set-ups! Awesome... I would have the police at my
door if I went with anymore than the little Rumble 40. I also have the little Vox amp per OP. Mostly
this little set-up into phones.View attachment 3478184
I prefer to practice with the same gear I use as close to stage volume possible, especially if I'm writing lines. I want to know exactly how things sound loud. It also has the added benefit of revealing technique issues. You can get away with a ton of finger noise/fumbles on small combos that you cant with full systems.

Home practice is generally a Phil Jones briefcase. Through the mighty 2X5 speakers or through cans, depending on who else is home at the time.
I have a Phil Jones Briefcase in my living room. Downstairs, I have an old Phil Jones Suitcase with the extender cab. When other musicians are here, that's where we play.

I rely on that exact thing no matter what I'm playing.. My ukulele reveals so much bad technique amplified as does my UBass... Stupid Piezo saddle pickups..

Luckily magnetic is a little more forgiving.

Even then I've got 2 stages of compression usually.. I'm new. I practice lots but I also do a street busking thing every friday over night and during those I'm playing UBass through a PA and I gotta try be so gentle.

I’ve had these two combo before ones like yours hit the market. I have the 15 slaved off the 210. The Nemesis was the first piece of Eden gear I owned, and added all the other pieces I own over about 2-3year period. See Icon.

Most was used, with the exception of the WT-1250 stereo power amp. I bought it on EBay, but the seller was my home town’s music store, so I got to check it out. It had never been powered up as they didn’t have a preamp. Anyway, $280 later it went home with me. Heavier than the dickens, but boy, is it ever responsive and sound great, and it was cheap!

Glad you got the 180 watt version. I read a few post on the Eden board on the others. Posters don’t seem to rave like they do with other Eden gear, but yours is held in high regard.

Hey Rollie,

I noticed something on you EQ. I see you are using the Enhance. As most of us Eden guys know, boosts the low end, scoops the low mid, and boost the high frequencies. Pretty much the Enhance is for playing at very low volumes, kind of like the old loudness buttons on car cassette players and some stereo amps back a few decades.

That’s ok for bedroom playing, or otherwise playing by yourself, but playing live you need those low mids to hear what you are playing over the other players. Most experienced Eden players don’t use enhance live. Check it out, and if I’m full of crap, let me know! Have a good one.
