What does your home practice setup look like?

TNT 150, now that's a decent piece of kit.

I originally bought it to sit in my basement for practicing but I like the sound of it so much I've actually took it to a couple shows lol.

Used to have a 115 cab under my crate combo. Don't have either anymore.

Since I only practice now - never actually playing with anyone yet - I just have one setup: Acoustic B100 combo, Alesis SR-16 drum machine through a Behringer K450FX keyboard amplifier and my little Ibanez short scale acoustic (PNB14E). It mostly stays in my detached garage 2nd floor finished room (with AC of course).

The amps and DM were all craigslist purchases, the total coming to around $170. Not bad I think. I'm ready to pick up a proper electric bass but it'll take a few months to get in a position for that I think. The DM pedal switches pattern A/B and kicks off the fills. I've found you can do quite a lot with just 2 patterns and 2 fills. The Behringer is a decent little amp and perfect for the drums. It has 3 inputs and includes around 100 effects settings but I never use them. I'm not quite sure what I think of the B100 amp yet. It's hard to tell without trying out on different basses. I find I need to keep the mid-low, mid-high and high all turned down pretty low - I think to cut back on the percussive noise from the acoustic bass.

You can't see it, but it's bass and iPad (running ForeScore) into Warwick BC10, out of 8"speaker or headphones.

Yes.. I replaced it with the SpectraDrive on my board, but I do throw the Vtone into my bag if I want a DI into the PA. For the price a great bit of kit. ¡

My other rig is in SoVa ... That is a Bass Micro Cube with a Oontz XL3 powered speaker and my phone or tablet using tracks or videos.. or ireal ...

I run through the FOH side of my full PA from my Boss GT-10B in my studio. I record our rehearsals and use all the instruments from the recordings minus my bass track to play along with. This also helps me fine tune my bass tone for the FOH as well. Occasionally I’ll fire up the old amps and have a go.

Sweet on both.. I only today tried my MicroCUBE Gx with my UBass

laughable results with anything other than the octave and Jazz Chorus..

I also use an Oontz. But the angle 3 plus. Very underated.. I actually plug my Ukulele into it when I'm trying to be heard.

Hi all!

I am running my bass sound trough the DI of my Fender Bassman.

Currently I have no practice amp, the bassman sits on top of a 410 and it's a bit too large for basically everything but live on stage haha

I am looking for something small and portable. Preferably a combo. I think I am going for the 15-25 watt range. I would like it it to be a tube amp to get a little pushed gritty sound without shaking the walls and such.

Are there amps available that fit this description?
It's really for practice and studio work. A good DI would be nice aswell; especially if the power tubes are in the DI signal.
