What does your username mean?

[Elmo Oxygen]

Mine is from a Steven Soderberg film called Scizopolis (if you haven't seen this film, watch it. Numerous times.). He takes money he makes from big-budget hollywood films and finances his own genius pieces.
One of the "characters" in this one, Elmo Oxygen, is an exterminator who beds all the bored housewives in town and speaks with them in a sort of code. He also wears goggles, which I've been known to do on stage.
There are many theories about what this film means/says/is about, but I believe the characters represent different personalities within one person. Elmo is me on stage (more or less). I've always loved one of his "code" phrases too: scratchpad horoscope (nobody liked it as a band name). To me it just screams "create your own destiny".

Mine is my real actual persons name. My first name, Gareth, was given to me by my mother who went on holiday to Wales at some time. My surname Dunster is a city, somewhere or other.
I thought that using my real name might diminish my usual habit for abuse and profanity.

A few years back myself and four friends were short on cash but wanted to do something special for a friend's birthday. We decided to form a band for a one-off performance and recorded our rehearsal as an EP of sorts. We were the 'G-Funk 5' (an area of the town we're from is known as the G-Funk because of the general madness that goes on around there, we were playing some electro funkiness and there were five of us). Anyway, when we were packing up the car with our gear a large number of wasps attacked my friends, but seemed to simply circle me before leaving me alone and attacking the others again. Someone asked 'Pedro, are you like the lord of the wasps or something?'

Pedro of the wasps mutated into Pedro de la Wasp in a Zack de la Rocha stylee.

If the name was translated correctly into Spanish I think it would be something like 'Pedro de las Avispas', but that doesn't quite have the same ring to it...

Yep, many of us have done it (says the former Stubi19, as a friend was creating my first email address and thought Stu and Scooby would be fun to mash up. Turns out she can't spell...) And now I just use Stu, as well, it's my name.
