I'm a huge Drag Racing fan, when I go to the races with my buddies the first thing we do is find the Top Fueler's and stand next to them when they fire up, if anyone has done this they know what I'm talking about, the air fill's with nitro flumes, it's kinda like getting tear gased, eyes water, can't breathe, loud as hell, it's a beautifull thing in a sick kinda way, and we call it getting our fix hench "nitrofix"

My first name is Jeffrey, which my friends at my first job devolved into 'free because they were too lazy for 2 syllables I guess! Then, as nicknames often do, it morphed again when someone added the z on the end. "Freez". I like it; good bass player nickname like "Sting" or something. Had that nickname for over 20 years now!
