None of my docs show a production BRX-115 with a round hole, they all show a variation of a slot port. I'm wary of photos on the internet because you don't really know the whole picture.
For example, I get a lot of inquires about Mesa Boogie speaker cabinets (not just bass but guitar too). It turns out than some are not legitimate Mesa builds but are home built (or in a couple of cases outside the US specifically counterfeit cabinets built as cosmetic copies complete with fake logos and hardware) or cobbled together out of damaged cabinet parts. The look pretty correct until you look closely at some of the hidden details. It's made even more complicated because we had a custom shop that would build a lot of one-off's that were later re-labeled as a production product by an end user.
