Bob B: I totally agree that there are circumstances where the dreaded neck bolt is acceptable. I admit I've used the technique on a few cheap plywoods. As far as back removal for a button graft, I've got a much easier and somewhat less invasive method. You may already be aware of it, but zap me if you are interested. BTW, I've got two neck grafts in process right now: one was trashed by British Airways in a flight trunk; the other was knocked off its stand by a moronic sub-human home repair contractor. Neither was mangled by its owner's stupidity...
