What filters to use?

I use these

Here's the problem - I can't hear myself. I can hear the sound of the bass, but I can't hear the pitches of the notes. I can hear the guitar, horns etc all fine but I can't seem to hear the pitches I'm playing.

Is this because of the filters I'm using? I've tried 25s and 15s and they've both given me this problem.

Would certain filters allow me to hear the bass pitches better? The only ones left to try in the ER series are 9s.

Thank you.

First things first: do you have your speaker cabinet(s) configured in such a way where the drivers, especially the mid and high frequency drivers, are pointed at your ears and not your buttocks?

FYI - it's not the bass frequencies you're struggling to hear/feel. It's the midrange content, which is more heard than felt and ultimately helps your brain determine pitch and timbre.
