What gear are YOU using for practice at home??

For bass guitar: Bass du jour into MOTU M2 audio interface into MacBook running Transcribe! software. Listening with Sennheiser HD-280 headphones.

For DB: same as above except using M-Audio BX5a monitors instead of headphones.

JC bass into a '66 Ampeg SB-12, whatever I might listen to through my stereo.

I had a little onyx series mackie mixer set up for a while with headphones. Those have very stout headphone amps.

I NEVER want headphones to be loud and don't expect too much from them, just hearing the notes I'm playing

Markbass Big Bang amp into a Markbass MB58R 102 XL.

Pedal board is a Boss tuner/Markbass Compressore/Markbass Chorus-Flanger/Markbass Riverbero/Sansamp Para-driver mk2. I'll bet you can't tell I like Markbass stuff

I have a bunch of other amps and cabs in the barn that I pull out for gigs but the MB sits in my music room and just works all day, every day.

I used to run through my DAW or plug into an Acoustic B50C combo amp, but this has been my practice rig for almost a year now. Nothing to plug in, no headphones, just grab the Alien and go. Never thought I would care one way or another about an acoustic bass. Apparently I had never played a good one. Practicing outside in nature is a beautiful thing.

Bass guitar goes into my Helix LT, Helix LT and synthesizers go into a Scarlett 16i16 - which is plugged into a M4 MacBook Pro and a Kali LP8 studio monitor.

I practice daily in my studio. I run the bass into my interface (AVID MBOX Studio) and out through my Focals'. since it's just direct it's a bit on the clean side, unlike paying through my regular live rig - Streamliner 900 & RevSound 112. I could mess with EQ but don't want to start up a DAW.

This is my practice space in the living room, which is what I use the majority of the time.

Marshall MBB30 amp, Zoom 506II with volume pedal which I do play with the effects, but also use it as a tuner, and Big Muff Π pedal.
Every couple of weeks or so, I'll pull out a couple of different basses and put them on the stand.

I also have an LH1000 amp and a 1x15 cab in my "music room", but I don't use those often at home. They are more my live setup.

I have a Rumble 40 for practice, and I actually use it for acoustic gigs as well. Most of my gigs have been acoustic for a number of years. I have a Peavey Delta bass amp and 2-210 cabs to choose from if I ever play another non-acoustic gig.

I'm weird. I have grown to practice about 50/50 between using my Vox Amplug with Tascam headphones or just not even plugging in. My basses feel/sound amazing acoustically. Every once in a while I may set up my pedal board with IEMs to dial in effects/sounds for new songs. My amps and cabs stay packed up for gigs.

I'm using a Mustang micro. I can either plug it straight into my bass or my pedalboard. It's probably the best practice tool I've ever had.
